To beach or not to beach...

Since I've been in 8th grade we always head to Myrtle Beach, SC for vacation, Last year we went and Bre was teeny tiny (6weeks) so it really wasn't all that easy...the drive SUCKED even more than normal (we leave Friday stay over in NC and then finish the drive Saturday) we had to stop every 3 hours to feed or change diapers, we were pretty much stuck in the condo during the day since it was too hot outside! I mean it was great visiting w family and we got away for a week but not something we were used to so we thought were not going to go again this year

So this year we threw around a few vacation ideas ...going to FL (to visit Hubs family),  heading to AL (to visit my sister and family-which I'm hoping to still do maybe around August/September) and I honestly thought going to Myrtle again was completely out of the question

But hubs mentioned about going again which I def wasn't going to say no... now that B will be a little over a year & can have sunscreen on and can be in the sun it would actually be fun. So a few weeks ago it came up again so I talked w my parents to see if we could stay w them again and thankfully they said yea! So looks like we're heading to Myrtle Beach in July! I am seriously beyond excited.....I love everything about Myrtle Beach!!!! The drive shouldn't be as bad this year since we can feed B in her car seat if she gets hungry. I also want to celebrate our 2 year wedding anniversary while we are there (even tho it will have passed) by going out to a nice dinner just hubs and I

There is just so much I am looking forward to this year for vacation! We already have B's bathing suits and boy oh boy are they the cutest! I am ao excited to see my little peanut running around on the beach and prob trying to eat sand and I really am hoping she likes the water! Last year she wasn't too sure about it! As much as I hate wanting to rush for summer to get here...I am just so excited we have a fabulous vacation to look forward too!

8mo

My sweet little Breanna, I can't believe how quickly this time is going by and how fast you are growing and that you are 8mo old

You are such a sweet and happy baby always smiling and laughing!!!  You are now full speed ahead and crawling and you have your moment when you get up on your hands and feet and want to stand so bad but just fall back on your bum! You also have started to walk when we hold your hands you love to clap and play with your toys and you love love love Mickey Mouse...you get so excited when we put it on for you to watch

You are a champ at pulling yourself up in your crib and music playground (which you LOVE) you've started to 'chew' on your crib rails so that means we need to get a cover before your top teeth pop thru so you don't eat any wood!! You are still sleeping through the night

You are eating almost all 'table foods' now and have one/two times you get baby food. You still have 3 bottles a day

As for table foods you love love love peas and have had green beans, bread, mashed potatoes, sweet potato fries, peach yogurt, oranges, bananas and you've also had some little bites of ice cream, cake and cookies(which all of course you love) you love apple juice and your baby mum mums and puffs

You have your two bottom teeth and your top are coming through and it's causing you way more pain than your bottom ones, so you have been chewing on everything you can get your hands on but you're still being a champ!

Your still our tiny little girl and wearing 6mo clothing but some of your clothes are a little big on you but you'll grow into them soon!! We're still trying to decide of we want to get your ears pierced at your next appointment or not!

Daddy and I love you so much and we are so lucky to have you as our little girl

Happy Valentines Day...

....this year not much really going on...hubs and I really don't celebrate however I am looking forward to the upcoming years to do little things for Bre and make her little breakfasts and get her little gifts...

Weekend...

This weekend was a semi busy one(well Saturday was)..Friday ran up to Target to get some things then we just hung out at home since Saturday was going to be a day full of running around...Saturday morning was semi relaxing then early afternoon it was running around til w got home at 9

We went to our friends daughters birthday party who is 2...made me more excited for Bre's party this summer!!! After that we headed out to B's aunts to visit w them and to celebrate a few family birthdays...this was the first time his side of the family got to meet Bre(beside his dad, step-mom and brothers)unfortunately we don't see them too often w his busy work schedule so it's always nice to catch up with them...(now she is normally in bed by 6/6:30 however this was an exception which only happens here and there)...she was a little trooper...she had a few 'stranger danger' moments but she really took to B's one aunt...and of course she loved the kids...B's one cousin has twin girls and they were so cute w her and all kids were playing peek-a-boo w her which she loved...she stayed up til 8:00 and as soon as we got into the car she was out and luckily she fell right asleep when I put her down! However around midnight she woke up crying usually if she does she falls right back asleep but not lastnight...I tried to put some orajel on her top gums as I know those teeth are working their way through...well that made it worse so I gave her some pediacare and that helped! Hoping since she was up late maybe she would sleep in later than 630...of course not!!!

This morning was an exceptionally nice one...B got up w Bre and let the dogs out then we all cuddled in bed til about 8:00....that's my kinda morning(especially how cold it is today)!!! B did some more of the painting in the bedroom today (some trim and another coat of blue) and I think I've convinced him to keep the brick original color!!! We're getting our bed on Tuesday(so excited) so then all we will have to do is finish the trim, get blinds and a new light and it should be all done!!! We caught up on Alcatraz its been hanging around on our dvr, such a good show!!!! Cooked a yummy pasta dinner w. EVOO, garlic, oregano and artichoke hearts(my absolute favorite) it tastes good warm or cold!!! Probably calling it an early night and curl up in bed and watch the Grammys

This week probably just cleaning and loads and load of laundry!! You know all the fun things!!!! Maybe starting to get ideas for when I take Bre to get her photos done in April/May

Well i was going to wait til we were completely done to post this but I am super excited how the paint looks so I thought I would post a part way thru post... So here are the before (very plain) and mid way thru after paint...we are getting our bed on the 14th and got an AMAZING deal on our bedding! It was originally $500 on sale last weekend for $250 but we ended up getting it on clearance for $100 mind you it is a 20 piece set that came with accent pillows and all...
