newbies

So if were friends on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram you are well aware we have 2 new additions to our family! Our neighbors who watched Molly for us while we were on vacation rescued 2 little kittens and before we left told us that they were ours when we came home. I wasn't going to get my hopes up just in case  something happened and we didn't get them. We got home Saturday and they brought them over on Sunday, its nice because Molly already got to spend the week with them and get used to them.

They are a brother & sister pretty much identical, except the female has a little more pink on her nose than the male- other than that it is so hard to tell them apart. Bre LOVES them and just giggles everytime she sees them or she will squeal and yell caaa

I have no idea what to name them- We have a few ideas but I cant pick just one yet...Im going to give it a few days to see their personalities but Im thinking either Sassy & Rascal, Beauty & Beast or Tango & Cash

Vacation re-cap

As much as I love the beach I am so glad to be home (sleeping in my own bed)! We had perfect weather everyday but one morning was kinda crappy! I only got a few hours a day on the beach it was just WAY too hot for Bre but that's fine w. me cause I cant handle the heat like I used to when I was younger....Brad and my dad golfed (M.W.F.) so most days I stayed up in the room until they got back & Brad watched her when he got back from golfing, we did hit up the pool a few day which she actually liked WAY better than the ocean they have a little 1ft pool with a little waterfall which was her favorite...she was ok in the am when we took walks but hi-tide was super early(like 11/12) everyday so she wasn't too happy with the ocean unless we would hold her.

Just a small re-cap of our vacay-(its pretty much the same thing every day)

Friday
8 hr drive to NC grabbed dinner and just hung out at the hotel...

Saturday
Woke up early had breakfast and hit the road again only a 4hour drive....went grocery shopping & got to the condo around 1:00 unpacked and relaxed took Bre to the beach

Monday

Wednesday

Saturday-
Drive home ALL day- it took us about 13 hours with only a few stops for gas and 5 mins out of the car...Bre did amazing up til the last 1/2 hour she got a little fussy...but I am so thankful for the DVD player or it could`ve been a really really bad 13 hours!

These are just a few of my favorite pictures.....

Vacation...

Were getting ready to head to Myrtle Beach this weekend for a week! I am beyond excited (despite the drive) We do a 2 day drive to make it a TAD easier....we head to Rocky Mount, North Carolina Friday stay there after an 8 hour drive then Saturday finish the rest of our drive to Myrtle Beach about 4 hours! I am praying for an easy car ride w B....last year she was only 6w old so up until the last half hour of day 1 she was so peaceful and day 2 was easy peasy....hoping for the same this year! I think hope she is goin to be so much fun at the beach this year since she is literally EVERYWHERE! I'm just really hoping she likes the sand....we at least have a lot of pools to go to if she doesn't!

The place we stay at is awesome myrtle beach resort...... it's a gated resort with a TON to do...playgrounds, lots of swimming pools, lazy river, kiddie play area pool, cabana bar and so much more! We've probably been going there for about 10 years or so. This is probably the last year we will be bunking up with my parents, there is a condo right across the hall from them we are going to try and rent next year! We usually go out to eat a few times during the week but our resort has some food too. I am most looking fwd to getting some all-you-can-eat seafood, well seafood in general and sushi

I am really glad we decided to join this tradition of going to the beach, we try and get the whole family to go but this year everyone else had other plans so maybe next year! Brad and I will also be celebrating our 2 year anniversary (late) while we are there & my parents will take Bre for the night and we will just have a night out to dinner to ourselves! Which I am excited to do because we really haven't gotten a night to ourselves sans kiddo....

So I will be blogging MIA probably for about a week or so but hope to have a lot to update when we get back!

Im still here...

I feel like I have been completely MIA from the blogging world...it's not that we don't have anything happening because we have been super busy but I just really haven't felt motivated to write much. I don't know if it's a 'funk' or what but we are still around.

We have been having lots of family time....last month my Aunt finally moved back from California and is living up near my parents(so glad to have her back home), my sister and her family were up here for 2 weeks and they just left on Saturday to head back south...it really sucks we only get to see them 2 maybe 3 times a year, so we try and take advantage when they are here to see them as much as possible. We celebrated 2 of my nephews birthdays this past weekend. Bre just loves playing with her big cousins & they absolutely love playing with her and chasing her everywhere.

I'm sad that I had to miss out on MNO due to this killer tension headache I have had all day. I was really looking forward to some down time and hanging out w some awesome ladies! Hopefully after we return from vacation things will be a tad less hectic and I will FINALLY be able to go!

Here are some of my favorite pics from the past few weeks...
