Our 4th of July is usually pretty relaxing. Our town actually has a big carnival around the 4th (McSummerfest) we haven't been since Breanna was first born (we just have yet to make it back plus it keeps us from wasting $$$ lol). They also do fireworks usually 2 days before its over, this year they had them on the 3rd. We are fortunate enough to be able to watch them from our house so we dont have to deal with the crazyness. My friend Stacey came over this year and we just sat out back and watched them, this year is the first year Breanna actually stayed awake to watch them and she loved them!!!
On the actual 4th we try and spend the day w. family just cooking out and relaxing. This year we went over to my parents fairly early so Brad and my dad could go golfing in the morning and we just hung out and had some yummy food. We ended up taking a trip to Walmart to get some stuff for my moms garden and then we headed home early evening. We didn't see any fireworks on Friday, B had to work on Saturday and we didn't want to fight traffic. So it was just a day of family and relaxing which in all honesty, is a perfect day for me
