I did a previous post on my goals, for this year but I will touch on that a little bit but I love a new year for a fresh start. I love being able to forget about the bad that happened in the past and just start new....so let's get to it.....

What I am looking forward to?

The beach!!!!!!!!! We haven't been to the beach in about 2 years and I cant wait to get my toes in the sand. We stay in a resort in Myrtle Beach and have been going there for about 18 years. It is awesome. It has everything right there on the grounds (pools, food, volleyball courts, bar, pizza/ice cream, lazy pool, kid pool, tennis/basketball courts, playground and so much more)

Bre is turning 5 this year....how is this even possible? Was she not JUST born??? This age is so much fun we have so much fun and I love how she loves & wants to be with me pretty much 24/7. Some days I do need a break but when it comes down to it, I love it and want to bottle it up for when she turns into a teenager and wants nothing to do with me.

Breanna's recital- I love how much she loves gymnastics and she loves even more to be on the big stage! I cant wait to see what they do this year

Excited about

The beach- seriously I can NOT express how excited I am to just sit my butt on a chair all day and listen to the ocean and watching Breanna play. Last time she was at the beach she was 1 so it will be a blast this year

Goals  

-more time with my bible
-let go and forget the little things

Happy Friday ladies!!! This week has flown by like whoa! I am not complaining but I feel like it was just Monday. I  have a lot of stuff do around the house so this will probably be short! (I also apologize for my lack of pictures)

I slacked this week on here but we had a pretty busy week this week and I am excited for the weekend even though we dont have a lot planned. Yesterday we had some amazingly cooler weather and I'm sure I will get bashed for this but  it really made me ready for fall (just not whats to follow!) Ready for fall smells (hello BBW! Im looking at you lets get those fall candles OUT!) cooler weather, jeans, sweaters, long sleeves and boots!

We got Breanna re-signed up for gymnastics and she is so excited to start next week! 

I realized after seeing a million BTS commercials, that I need to do clothes shopping for Bre for SCHOOL. ((sad mama!)) I am so not ready for this yet. 

I dont know if I am late to the game with this but I recently came across these super cute PuraVida  bracelets. Not only are they super cute, they are reasonably prices, waterproof, they also provide jobs for artisans in Costa Rica. I am hoping to become a rep so if I do, I will hook you all up with a discount code. I am ordering a few this weekend .
 
We are going to get new phones this weekend I cant wait, this one I currently have has been crapping out on me a lot lately so I am switching back to iPhone. T-Mobile has a new program called JUMP!On Demand we are switching to where I guess if a newer model phone comes out (even a month or 2 after you just purchased) you can trade-in no questions asked.

Well, I better get my ass in gear and start things around here....have a fabulous weekend loves

oh! hey friday!

How is it already end of July?!?!?! As I mentioned yesterday, this week was kind of boring due to hot weather....but I felt the need to post again......I apologize for lack of pictures in this post but sometimes a list post is just what is needed

*B has the ENTIRE weekend so I am looking forward to some family time this weekend! Sometimes I love a weekend with zero plans and just a go with the flow and do whatever

*We recently got cable back and Ive been trying to catch up on old shows I used to watch and I came across a new one called Odd Mom Out.....so funny! 

*I was scrolling through movies on demand to watch the other day and I remember wanting to see Moms' Night Out when it first came out and I finally got around to watching it, defintielely a great movie for a girls night!!! 

*I got my Blockhead shirt in the mail this week and I am obsessed, I think I may need to order another in a different style.

*We finally got to see friends we haven't seen in a month for a play-date, it was a short one but it was so great to catch up and the girls surely missed each other!

I will never get sick of mentioning the fact that Donnie Wahlberg tweeted me!!! Seriously I freaked out good thing B was working night shift because he would've thought I was off my rocker .

Fri-YAY (anniversary edition)

Happy Friday! This will probably be a short n sweet post. I have slacked too long on getting things ready for our trip Sunday, so I need to get my butt in gear and get things around the house done, so B doesn't have too much to do. So lets get to it....

Though I dont even think B really reads this...I wanted to wish my him a happy (5 year!) anniversary! I truly cant believe that it's been 5 years! (We have been together 10, which is even crazier to me!!!!) As I mentioned yesterday, we are finally getting to go out to dinner just the 2 of us tomorrow(thanks Mom and Carol!) after B gets off work, I cant wait to chow down on some hibachi & sushi!!!  

I truly feel so blessed to be married to such a sweet, caring and loving man, we have had MANY ups and downs and I truly wouldn't want to share it with anyone else. He is my true soulmate and my best friend.  I just wanted to share a few of my favorite pictures today...

heyyyy Friday

I normally dont get excited for weekends, because honestly it's all the same to me....but I am looking forward to this weekend (and next!). We have a busy one coming up and sometimes I truly like to be busy on the weekend (the weeks for us can tend to be a little slow!)

* As I have mentioned before, Bre got a gym mat from my parents for her birthday and to say she is obsessed would be an understatement. She is off for the summer but has been practicing every day! She has her back roll down, and she is almost at a full cartwheel (I have to mention she has yet to learn this in class just by seeing the older girls do it!) If you follow me on Instagram, I usually post videos over there. I am just so proud how determined she is when she wants to do something! She doesn't quit until she gets it perfect

* Last weekend we ran to Target so I could try and find some shoes for Breanna and myself for a wedding we have this weekend and I found these super cute ones for her for only $8.

* I cant wait to get a main/pedi tomorrow!!! (Why is it though EVERY time I am about to get my nails done, one or two days before a nail ALWAYS breaks! #firstworldproblems)

* Bre had her first dance class yesterday and I wasn't sure how much she would like it because it's more structured than gym and she isn't constantly moving but she said she really enjoyed it, so we will have one more class before we decide what we want to do come fall. 

* I still have another week, but I am BEYOND excited to go see my sister in Alabama. It's been WAY too long!!! I miss having her close. And I know all the kids are excited!!!

* We got paperwork for Pre-school in the mail!! I am NOT ready for this!!! I know it's only 2 days a week but I dont want my baby to grow up!!! I want to keep her little forever.

* Though we have a busy weekend and then busy week trying to prepare for vacation, I am hoping to maybe sneak away one day next week and go take Breanna to see the Minion movie. She keeps telling me she wants to see it.

* I am so over the rain, usually I dont mind a nice summer storm but it's getting old.   I cant even tell you the last time we were able to go outside and just enjoy the day (ok I can it was last weekend but still this rain is just insane!!!)

Happy Friday and Happy weekend ladies! I am hoping a lot of you working ladies are celebrating a long weekend for the holiday? If not, bummer! This week was kind of a dud of a week, we had yet more rain but we did have a few nice days that however felt like we skipped right over summer and went straight to fall! 

*crock pot meals were my thing this week....I am not one that loves to cook but I love being able to throw dinner in and then not worry about it until it's time to eat. I made - 

• un-stuffed cabbage 
• turkey meatball hoagies 
• cream cheese crock pot chicken 

* my husband is pretty awesome...he went to the "pet store" last weekend and brought me home a new laptop. Nothing crazy fancy (as I just use it for personal use) but I mentioned maybe getting one for Christmas since mine was about to crap out soon. And it's a pretty blue color

*Baxter had his first puppy latte and boy did he love it! 

 *Summer dance starts next week and I cant wait....kid has been asking every week since recital when she can go back!

*It's anniversary month (July 17 officially 5 years!), so Ive been reminiscing and looking at all the wedding pictures (I am sure I will post another post soon with more but these are a few of my favorites)

This weekend B has the whole weekend off so we dont have too much planned. We are going to my parents Saturday and then Sunday he is golfing w guys from work and we will probably do stuff around the house! Have a fabulous weekend!

Been a little while since I've linked up for Confession post w Melissa and since Im in the blogging groove I figured why not...

I confess.........

I have been obsessed w watching NKOTB concert on Periscope the past few weeks. The tour is almost over and I may have MAJOR withdraws 

Ive been extra lazy this week because it's been so dreary and rainy

I am not ready for Breanna to start school in the fall. Seriously how is it already time for this? I know it's only 3 hours for 2 days a week but I dont want her to grow up!!!!!

I have not worked out in over a year and while I feel like I really should start back up, I have ZERO motivation

I  am starting to save up for the next NKOTB tour so I can hopefully get close seats and maybe even VIP w meet and greet!

Friday things...

This week has me all sorts of confused, it was our first week with no gymnastics so my days are just all blurred together. If I am going to be honest not much happened this week its been kind of quiet week, B is night shift so its been nice having him home during the day.

A few of these, I may have mentioned in my Thankful Thursday post so I apologize....(also I apologize for the lack of pictures in this post, sometimes a list is just the way to go!)

*Bre had her 4 year well visit and everything checked out good and the Dr is happy. She is 34 lbs and 41 inches

*I am obsessed w Periscope! I am so excited I found it, because I have been able to re-live my NKOTB concert withdraw all week!!!! I don't know what I am going to do when they are done touring in a few weeks

*My child has been early waking from the beginning....and FINALLY she is sleeping in, not that it really gets me anymore sleep because the dog is up by 6:30/7 but I can enjoy a cup of coffee before answering a million questions

*getting a manicure tomorrow and I cant wait, I love having my nails look pretty

*Starbucks red velvet cake frapp. AAAAAAAAhmazing!

*In hopes it doesn't rain (yet again) our town is having a parade Saturday to kick off the local festival starting, so we want to take Bre to that, other than that we are having a chill out weekend, maybe cookout...last weekend was so busy, this is much needed relaxation.

Friday stuff

Its been quite awhile since I've done a Friday link-up so here I am :) We have been quite busy and I have actually enjoyed it. Sometimes I do like to just relax and enjoy the day but I also like to keep busy...anyway lets get to it!

It's been almost a week since I had one of the BEST days. Why would that be you ask? Well, if you know me well enough you know that I love am pretty obsessed with  NKOTB. Well, they came back to Pittsburgh last Sunday....and ever since I found out they were coming back, I have felt like my 8 year old self a giddy little girl all excited to go see my 5 favorite men...Again, they did not disappoint. I didnt take many pics because, I wanted to really enjoy the show (in case they dont tour again. Though I am hoping that's not true) Our seats were freaking amazing. And you bet that if they come back again I WILL be there and this time, I am trying to get even closer. (Oh yea Nelly and TLC were there too...they were good)

They sang and danced their asses off for 2 hours! Seriously 40 something men dancing for 2 hours like they were back in their 20s. I love the love they have for their fans even after all these years (27 to be exact!)  I could seriously talk about these guys all day but I wont bore you.


Tonight is recital night! I am excited because I miss these days....I have so many memories from growing up and dancing. I really hope Bre wants to continue as she gets older because those were seriously some of the best memories I ever had!

Bre turned 4 on Monday...FOUR!!!!!!! How is that possible? Wasn't she just born yesterday. She is just growing up too fast for me but I love this age honestly. She is so much fun right now.


Tomorrow, we have our friends daughters birthday party and hopefully a baseball game  (depending on rain) to go to so it should be a busy weekend. Sunday for Fathers day we will probably just hang out as B has to work Sunday night.

I confess....

.....I was so overwhelmed/stressed last week, that I had myself a glass (or two) of wine at 4:00

.....I would much rather have some puppy snuggles than do housework or anything for that matter

.....I am not sorry for the amount of puppy pictures I post lately on social media

.....I bawled like a baby when I watched Glee Finale. That was one show I absolutely loved and even though the last few seasons weren't my favorite, I am going to miss it!!!

.....I don't know if I am ever going to enjoy B working these long hours (pay day YES! But its still hard)

 

Friday stuff

Happy Friday!!! This week really flew by. I feel like it was JUST Monday. Well anyways...This week was a good one...nothing MAJORLY exciting but we did get out of the house (YAY!!!)

* Met up with my MBFF & her girls this week was a huge highlight because I feel like I havent seen them in forever!!! We met up at BK and the girls had a blast running around and up and down the play area. This is the first time in 2 year they actually had the courage to climb the entire way to the top! (We got so caught up in catching up, we took no pictures!)


* This re-purpose piece. My mom got me this tin for Christmas and it had hollies, berries Christmas type flowers in it and I absolutely love it so I wanted to use it again, so I raided my stock of flowers in the attic and I am so happy how it looks

* This one here....she just amazes me more and more everyday!!!! I love how much she loves to learn and loves to draw and write. Awhile back we found a new show called Word World where the words "come to life" as whatever that particular word is. Any time she watches it she has to have her tablet right beside her to write down words!

* This weekend we are supposed to go to my parents at some point but other than that not really sure what is happening! B has been working a lot this week and next week he will be onto his normal schedule (12 hr days) so we are trying to get as much time together before that all starts!

Confession funk...

I confess......

.....I am in a MAJOR funk lately (I think being stuck inside is just getting to me)

.....some days I just feel like I am a bad mom/wife and I just cant do anything right

.....I need to start working out again! (I know I mentioned it last week, but maybe if I keep talking about it I will finally do it!)

.....I really need to get back to church. I think this is a lot of why I am just feeling so blah lately
